OK...I saw Dr. Drew last night on that new "celebrity rehab" show and....I thought he was a real idiot. Seriously, what real doctor wears his stethoscope around the way he did? It just seemed so contrived...and...he seemed a little...off.

Uh, Kris, all real doctors wear the stethoscope all the time. They never know when they might encounter an emergency. Isn't it part of the Hippocratic Oath? Look no further than Dr. Rey.

I just asked dh. And he wears his stethoscope all the time. From the time he gets to work and is in scrubs, to the time he gets off work. :huh:

I'm being sarcastic. Dr. Rey wears his in his car on the way to work. And I think Dr. Drew is a psychiatrist and Kris was watching him on a TV show. Which one is Dr. Drew? The one with the stethoscope of course!

The thing that struck me about Dr. Drew is that he was wearing it like a tie... while sitting talking to someone at one point

I wear mine around my neck. Occasionally I'll put it in my pocket if I have on a lab coat, but I paid $200 for it and don't like to coil it.

With very expensive Italian shoes. Luanne, next time just let me know if you need a stethoscope, we have about 5 all over the apt. I didn't even realize they're that expensive. DH got them from drug reps I think but they're plain looking and don't have any company or drug names on them. Although one is white with blue stripes. :huh:
