  • custom bokeh? (twinkle lights in photos)

Had anyone tried this? It look so cool. I'm want to give it a whirl this weekend! I have a snowflake and heart punch. Just need black card stock.

Wasn't sure where to put this thread. Can we add a photography subforum? We have enough professionals and enthusiasts to keep it active. I'd love to see more of everyone's photography.

I haven't tried the shapes but I did the twinkle lights picture with my DS. I love it so much, it's my favorite pic of him. Please don't mind me while I totally AW this picture that's also my avatar:

natural light. DS was like 4 ft. in front of the backdrop/lights and I had my aperture at 2.8. Our house is small so I had to use my lens that only goes to 2.8 but if you have one with a lower aperture, definitely go with the lowest setting to get the most bokeh!

Oh and I totally cloned in extra lights. I only had one strand, lol. I wish now I would have added them all the way down the sides, too but oh well.
