  • Doctor's visit

So, I was talking to dh about how I was given a smock/covering (what is it that patients are given to wear?), and I noticed that one of the strings had been ripped off. I told him that my entire chest area was exposed because I couldn't tie myself up all the way.

He had a puzzled look on his face and told me that the ties go down the back. All these years. ALL THESE YEARS! I've been putting the thing on BACKWARDS!!!

No wonder I need fashion help!

That's not necessarily true - when I have my annual exams they have me put them on with the opening in the front so that they can do a breast exam.

Give yourself a break - doctor husband's aren't always right! :mydoc:

That's what I was thinking too -- what Cheri said.

The things never stay on anyway so I don't think it matters. I hate those gowns.

Are you KIDDING me? Phew! I don't know why I got all worked up about this, for nothing.

Since you DH never had to see a gyn, he's probably not aware that in those instances the gown goes opening in the front. In all other cases, it's opening in the back.
