  • How many pairs of shoes do you own?

I'm totally burned out at work and way too happy that this site is back up. So, confession time. How many pairs of shoes do you have? Flipflops and Birks count as shoes for the purposes of this poll. House slippers don't.

I voted 17-25 but I only wear 1/2 of them on a regular basis. I need to clean out my closet.

26-40. I counted the other day, because I was looking for some to sell on ebay. I decided not to...

I wear maybe half of them. I have lots of boots that I'm saving for another lifetime because the salt here just eats them up.

My excuse is that NY goes through all 4 seasons, so I need to dress accordingly for each one. Although I'm still trying to explain 10 pairs of boots.

I don't own one pair of boots. I own one pair of athletic shoes. 2 pairs of heels, and two sandals.

Would you like to take up a collection?

three pairs of work shoes (closed toe low heeled shoes)

Several funky pairs of heels of a variety of heights.

            Two jewel encrusted flip-flops.

            One pair slippers

I have about 10 pairs. I've never been really into shoes. The shoes I love are my boots for winter (fashion boots that is with a heel) and for summer black slip on sandals with a strap across the top. Most of the 10 pairs are dressy shoes--heels for dresses, etc.

I'm right at 16 pairs of shoes.

I try to get shoes that are versatile and will last a long time - so I don't have to buy quite so many. I also avoid redundancy in my shoe buying. If I already have it there's no need to get something similar to it.

Of course, 16 is still a LOT of shoes....

I can't count. They are everywhere. I even have a couple pair of heels at SO's house and the other day he pulled a bag out of my car containing a cute pair of brown slingbacks I forgot I even owned!

My count over inflates because I have at least six pairs of running shoes.

I'm quite sure that this is not what you meant.

I've already confessed my Amish-like shoe tendencies.

I've got a whole 5 pairs. That's luxury for me. Post training style.
