  • Heidi's Spring/Summer Wardrobe for $100

From Old Navy, these come in 4 colors and 3 lengths and have a bit of a stretch to them. Can be dressed up or down. $32.50

Also from Old Navy, comes in 3 colors, lightweight and great for layering, $13

Also from Old Navy, a dressier version of the above sweater, $19.50
From Target, comes in several other colors, $30

The above comes to $95. I've assumed that you already have some camis to go under the sweaters. You can also get 2 pair of pants in different lengths instead of the shoes or the shoes in 2 different colors. I guess this is more spring than summer. Let me know if you'd like a more summer version.

Thanks, Vishenka. Though, I have to ask. Is that a wardrobe? 4 items?

No, really, thanks! Maybe I will go to Old Navy/Target this weekend and see what I can find. Oh, and I am kidding myself with the size 16 thing. I am still totally an 18.

I have lost nearly 60 pounds and only gone from a 22 to an 18. Wail!!!

Yes, I think I would like a more summer version because in South Carolina, Summer starts in April.

And, you assumed wrong. Assume I don't already have anything. No camis. I could maybe up my budget to $200. Maybe.

Quite a bit of time is outside. I am outside pretty much every day in the summer.

No, I do not own a plain white collared button down shirt. Button down shirts are hard for me to get the right size because they have a hard time fitting over the girls (DD) without stretching and popping buttons or being to baggy all around. I did have one white button shirt, but it is way too big for me now.

3/4 length sleeves would be the longest I would want to go because it is so hot here.

Yes it is! I love Vishenka's choices but you could wear those now and even in the winter months. Here is what I would do with $150... (right in the middle of what you think you might be able to spend.)

And that leaves $.50 to spare!!! Look at all that great stuff! SIX tops, TWO bottoms, TWO bags, TWO pair of shoes, and a great pair of earrings.

Thanks, Stella. I am a little worried about all the tanks. I do not have good arms.

Won't cropped pants just make me look like my pants aren't long enough, like floods? What is the difference?

And, why on earth does someone need more than one handbag? Really?

And, I just knew you'd throw a skirt in there.

Thanks. This gives me some ideas. Though, when I get to the store, you'll probably think I didn't follow your rules at all.

Please tell me you are joking! I own as many bags as I do shoes. I know, it's a sickness-and the only cure is Dooney and Bourke!!

I gave you one black and one brown and they can both be dressed up or down. (I rhyme, too!)

Anyway, you could probably get by on just those two and they are big enough to hold everything you could want. No?

I threw the skirt in for some flare.

And a lot of the things I put in there can be mixed and matched and layered and dressed up or down with things you already own. For example, black cropped pants, white cami, white linen top, and black shoes and bag. Easy! Brown skirt, white cami, flip flops, and off to the beach! Going out to dinner? Black textured cami, black cropped pants, black bag, strappy heels, done!

Heidi, sorry those pic from Lane Bryant didn't come out. But everything is from the Sale page and then I did a search for your size.

                        Stella, thanks for helping.
