  • Help me pick between these two shoes

Ok I"ve looked at DWS every shoe store in the mall, and more. My criteria was it had to be black, had to be mostly comfortable, i.e. the shoe actually bends with foot!, had to be under $40.

The first shoe is from DSW, very cute, fits pretty well though slips some in the back... is $40

The second shoe, super cute, is Kenneth Cole at I got at Dillarards today for $12!!! The upside it fits over all better, down side is the heel is little low for one of the dresses I'm wearing.

I need these to use for Match Day and Graduation, and I"m not so sure I can talk DH into letting me keep both - though I'm gonna try

So which shoe should I keep? Match Day - I will have no kids, Graduation day is at the Powell Hall where the symphony plays and I will be going up LOTS of steps holding a baby and with DS....

    HELP!

    Shoe 1

    Shoe 2

I actually love shoe #1 with dress #1 and shoe #2 with dress #2.

I think it is casual nice to jeans depending on the person. DH and I googled Match Day pics today to decide I'd rather look nice, but thats me

Shoe #2 doesn't look like a dress shoe to me, more like a pants shoe. I really like #1 with both dresses though.

Lily, I looked like crap on Match Day (see my story on getting fired earlier that day). Unless you're planning on celebrating (hopefully) afterward, I don't see a point in dressing up.

Definitely shoe #1. I have some similar.

#2 is.... not my favorite. Sorry.

                      Definitely #1. #2 = cute shoes though.

Pick the $40 shoe, then convince him WTH for another $12 you will have two pairs that will last a long time.

Well said. They're 12 buckos! Can't get any better than that. I'd wear #1s with the dresses and keep #2s for future use.
