Ok ladies, I have a wedding to go to in St. Louis on April 21st.

    The wedding is here:

    The reception is here:

DH is an usher, his parents will also be in attendance. The wedding is at two and the cocktails, dinner and dancing are at 5:30. ETA: I and one of the other wives are helping out with day of type things, I don't think I'm doing anything else.

I also need a dress to wear to rehearsal. These are the ones I have come up with so far:

I'm open to other suggestions as well, I'd like to spend less then $100.

Or these are cute too (though they're a little more $$)

    I'll never decide.

Are you sure you want to go sleeveless for even a rehearsal? That seems like a pretty formal church. I'd definitely bring some sort of cover-up for while you're in the church.

That's what I was going to say. You may want to keep your shoulders covered in a church like that. Maybe Vishenka has some ideas for a wrap.

I like the black&white dresses for the rehersal and the red for the wedding. Let's decide on a dress first and then we'll do the wrap.

Try looking on ebay for tea length bridesmaid dresses. They are often under $100 and many designers do really hip styles these days.

I like the second black and white dress. Bring a cardigan to cover your shoulders. And DO NOT WEAR RED. It's not good etiquette to wear red to a wedding.

I like this (it's burgundy, which is okay.)

            This is nice too...

Just remember that you don't want something too detailed around the waist (like a big bow or something) if you will be pairing it with a cardigan.

Yes, I plan to wear a wrap or a sweater - its April, in Missouri, it could be cold it could be warm. That red dress comes in other colors, the red just caught my eye.

I'll see if I find anything on eBay.

ETA: If I didn't want to wear a wrap what kind of dresses would you recommend? IMO all the cute dresses don't cover your shoulders. I had a formal catholic wedding and I didn't have my shoulders covered.

Stella, where did you get no red at a wedding? I've never heard that. Women wear red to weddings in NY all the time. Is it a Southern thing?

Any other ideas for where to look online? I've already looked at my mall, this dress or dresses will have to be bought online. When I said $100, I meant each - not both, I'm sure I'll wear them again.

ETA: I've already looked at Ann Taylor, Ann Taylor LOFT, J Crew, JCPenney, Nordstrom, Macy's, Talbots and White House/Black Market.

How about this one for rehearsal?

That could work. Just make sure it's not too officy. You might have to punch it up with jewerly and accessories.

Ok, how about #3 for the wedding and #5 for rehearsal?

That sounds like a good idea. You can do a beaded cardigan w/#5 and a black shawl w/#3. You're doing so well on your own, you barely even need us.

Ok, now where do I find a beaded cardigan and a nice black shawl?
