So, on my spending spree at Target, I was mindful of the capri/shorts/bermuda shorts/clamdigger's discussion so I bought some cute to the knee cotton and linen skirts.

and...it's in the 80s here.

and my dryer vents directly underneath the house (until they fix it) which means that hot and steamy air is actually venting back into the laundry room- which is also my closet.

and since I decided that I was going to wear one of these skirts tomorrow because I have a meeting and then lunch with Sally...I needed to iron said skirt. and you know, I didn't count the cute little pleats when I bought the damned things...

So, sweating my arse off in the steam bath that is currently my bedroom because my laundry room IS my closet and my closet IS attached to my bedroom, I just want you to know that I cursed in your general direction. With love. but I did.

Jenn, I'm so proud of you! And it's sandals with two "a".

As for the pleats, You only need to iron half way down because then you'll end up sitting on them anyway. I don't usually iron all the way down.

I'm ok with the some choice words in my direction as long as they result in you looking fabulous.

PS I saw some Birk-like Michael Kors sandals last night and actually didn't find them all that comfortable. :huh:
