I'd love to, but it isn't mine. Someone lent it to me.

I actually think it's a bit too dressy for a summer even and would hold it for a holiday party. I think something along those lines but with more of a summer feel would be good. Should have grabbed those $5 wraps in NY while you were here. I could send one to you if you want.

I think the first one might still be too evening'y and the one Jenn suggested, while really nice, is a bit too casual.

You can pick any color in the embroidery - ivory, gold, red, green and do accessories in that color. Don't do all accessories in the same color, mix and match. Here's another wrap option (there are also 20% off coupons floating around most of the time).

Shoes options (in all the 4 colors) from the same site as the wrap:

Wow. I know where I'm coming for advice next time I need to dress up. I am *so* completely clueless about this stuff.

Anybody got a complex HTML/CSS/ColdFusion/SQL problem they need solved?

Sorry for the mini-hijack - I'm sure whatever you end up wearing will look great, Syl!

The red ones are probably the highest. You don't have to get those exact shoes, I just wanted to post some affordable ideas (they're all around $50 or less).
