  • Jacket tips?

I'm looking for something to take with me to Germany this summer. Even though it's slated to be hot, hot, hot, it does get chilly at night, and there are summers when it can be rainy and cold (50 deg.).

I'm short (and NOT SLIM), but would still like to have a trench coat in my arsenal. Are there any cuts to stay away from?

I just did an article on this in the previous issue. Does anyone around here read me?

I don't have the membership to access the magazine. Believe me, I would have taken your advice. My entire conference outfit (including the arch supports) was put together by you!

AND the pink (not cream) camisole. Quit feeling sorry for yourself!

You wore pink cami with green shoes? I'm not taking responsibility for that one.

Btw, you no longer have to pay for the magazine, just sign up and read all the archives. Or PM Kris if you're confused and she'll set you up.

How did I miss the trenchcoat article! Waaahhh! I need that!

Vishenka, can I hire you as my personal trench coat shopper?

              Bad move?
The green isn't that green. More brown, actually.

Plus, the pink cami was barely visible, I kept having to tug at it to keep it visible.

I can't access your article in the archives. I'll go bother Kris about it, then. Maybe the articles have been locked up again?

It can work!! You don't have to wear things that match, you have to wear things that go. But I didn't see it all together, so I can't vouch for one side or the other.

I would go for a hip length or shorter belted A-line trench. Does that help? Let me know if you want some examples.

                    I'm still pretty fashion backwards.
Of course, ignorance is bliss. Believe me, I looked much better than some of the professors that were at the conference. Whether green and pink can be worn together would be a minor problem in some of the outfits I saw. Sigh. I fit right in.
