i went to claire's the other day to get some hair stuff for dd's. OMG! jelly shoes!!?? i used to wear them all the time. hello stinky feet!

    jelly bracelets....yes please....hundreds of them.

ballet flats. i had a pair of sam and libbys--black that i wore EVERYDAY for a year.

boots with dresses. yup. i was all over that with my awesome brown cowboy boots.

pretty soon spandex, big hair, and bright blue eye shadow will be back. or is it already??

There was lots of neon colours becoming trendy in Ireland when I left. My brother and I had matching bright yellow and pink outfits when I was about 10. ( icon).

Jellys = awesome, totally worth coming back IMO. I lived until 7 in those things.

I find the metallics trend amusing. Of course, I found the bell-bottoms thing amusing, too.

as long as we don't have to go back to inch thick shoulder pads and bows on the butt, I'll be all right.

I can't believe super high waists are back. I saw a girl on 5th Ave the other day and her pants literally ended at her bra. I know we'd all like our legs to grow out of armpits but that was taking it a bit too literally.

I think I'd rather see it tucked in than the belly hanging out. That was my first east coast shocker...the belly overhang. Sorry, but unless it is a pregnant belly it really isn't attractive. I'm not so fond of butt cracks either. So I, for one, wouldn't mind seeing waists rise a touch, but not to the armpits.

ITA. I like the lower waist but not LOW. For myself and those around me.

I hope big hair comes back! I've got curly hair so sleek, flat hair is too hard for me. When big hair was in, I was all over that!

Ballet shoes are great except that my feet are long, so they would just accentuate that. I need heals to make my feet look a little more dainty.

I hope shoulder pads never come back in style!

                  ITA!!!

I can do big hair in a heartbeat due to my naturally curly hair.

I also have VERY VERY broad shoulders so I was always cutting out my pads in the 80s.... !

Acid washed skinny jeans need - not - come- back!!! I actually kind of like the flared (boot cut) jeans. They make my short legs look normal.

I am also glad about the round toe shoes. The pointy toes were starting to hurt.

Oh - and the big hair never left...at least not in my house. Every morning I use quite a bit of the frizz-ease to tame the mane.
Finally - we are finished with training! Hello real world!!
