  • What would you eradicate?

Wow, that skirt is a special kind of ugly.

Tapered leg pants are evil. That would be my pick.

gauchos, jodpuhrs, cargos that flair at the thighs.

I mean, unless you're 6" tall and 100 pounds, they don't look good.

Agreed, especially on saggy assed sweat pants. (not sure if that counts as a fashion item though).

I personally hate the sneaker heels or the timberland heels. Those are just too horrible for words.

I am 100% onboard with the clothes that say stuff and the tennis shoe/timberland heels- might as well slap a heel on ye olde birkenstocks for as good a look as those have.

the other fashion trend that gives me nightmares is the Baby Ho. I blame the Jon Benet Ramsey parents- dear god, 5 year olds do NOT need keyhole belly openings or any of the other nightmarish adult looks that are even worse on a child.

(thanks again to the Ministry of Education in Perm, Russia for my BOY!)

I also hate demin shorts on men. especially pleated denim shorts.

ITA with eradicating 'baby ho'. Or the trend that has teen girls wearing tight, belly baring shirts and sweats rolled low w/words across the butt. I don't care how tiny your butt is, words across the butt are NOT flattering. And even though it's taut, young skin, not all teens can / should be baring the belly. You see a lot more 'muffin top' than you should.

Grown ups can wear what they want. If they look stupid, ahhh well ...

DH has 2 pink dress shirts. He also has a lavender one. I just think blue can get boring really fast.

Men in denim shorts - yuck.

Another horrible idea is socks or pantyhose with open toe/sandal. If it's warm enough for sandals, it's warm enough for bare feet. If you feel the need to cover your feet, then cover them completely.

If I could only pick ONE (wow that's hard!) it would have to be skin-tight clothing. I think skin-tight t-shirts and jeans/shorts look terrible on everyone - regardless of how skinny or curvy they are. Most of the time the people wearing the super-tight stuff are just revealing their fat rolls. Let's leave something to the imagination!
