LOL!!! You guys don't know very many Brits, do you? Every British man I know has pink dress shirts in heavy rotation. My DH looks GREAT in pink. In fact, it's such a good look on him (he's got a pale pink dress shirt and a silvery gray tie, with dark gray trousers) that one of our friends who swore he wouldn't be caught dead in pink now wears a pink dress shirt to work too.

Clarification - I am not married to a Brit, I just slept at a Holiday Inn last night.[/quote:4115d]

actually Lily I think it's just another rediculous American thing...my DH wears pink...he actually has a bevy of colored dress shirts in his closet...Foreign men aren't afraid of colors, because the cultural "blue is for boys and pink is for girls" wasn't pushed on them since birth!

I would eradicate really tapered legs. Remember those jeans that had ankle zippers so you could get into them? After seeing those Timberland heels, I request a second choice so I can add those to the list.

      DH looks great in purple/lavender.

Manhattan is still full of tourists who wear jean capris with scrunchy socks and keds/white sneakers. Urg! Add to it I Luv NY sweatshirt from the corner vendor, colored hair scrunchy and fanny pack and you've got fashion hell.

            Then they go to DC...

and here in South Texas, we have the girls in metallic too tight shirts and shorty shorts. I'm sorry, Jessica Simpson could pull it off but few others are able.

and the tourists ALL wear long pants and jackets and then are purple and sweaty by 10am.

I just have to jump in and say that I LOVE BOYS IN PINK! (Especially the one pictured.) Michael wore and wears pink all the time and I looooove that. Call me preppy, but I'm a huge fan.

              White tube socks. Blech.

              Fanny packs. Ugh.

              Tapered leg anything. Gross.

              Jorts. Gag.

              Pleather. Yuck.

Any and all tourist t-shirts. No thanks.

Don't hate on pink. It looks good on me.

Though I'll never wear it in the next few years; I don't want to become a Balto statistic.

                    Eradicate only ONE thing?

Belly-baring tops. No matter the age.

                    They. Just. Look. Trashy.

                      Let's see:

High heels have to go. They are bad for feet and make women feel like they have to prace around on toothpicks to look good.

Mullets, hair pieces, combovers, and whatever Donald Trump has going on on top of his head.

Fake nails. How can anyone do anything with these on?

No you didn't! High heels are among the things that will need to be torn from my dead fingers.

Heels don't need to be toothpicks, they can be platforms and wedges and stacked heels. There are so many possibilities. It's like hating ice cream or chocolate.

Yeah, well, I still want them gone. I'm 5'9", so I really don't need them. All they do is make me look even more freakish next to everyone else. Also, they are standard, so it's very impossible to find shoes without heels. Why shoes that are size 10's need to have 3 inch heels is so beyond me. How many 5'0" people are there walking around that wear size 10's?

Plus my dh is a future foot and ankle surgeon, so he is really against them; however, they will keep him in business fixing all the ladies bunions.

And, I lump all heels into the same category - uncomfortable, unneccesary, and unwanted! They make me too tall. Get rid of 'em!

I have to admit to only being able to properly ballroom dance in high heels though, so I guess they can be manufactured for dancing purposes only.

Lily, I really like most of those. I guess I wear mandals all the time. I'm telling you, you and Vishenka really have your work cut out for you with me.
