I agree about the labels... I don't mind labels on purses, but I do mind labels across shirts. GUESS or D & G in big bold letters is annoying to me. Definitely not as cool as seeing a little designer button, or catching a glimpse of the tag as the person hangs up the coat or something. Not like I look at people's labels or judge people for their labels, but it's a heck of a lot better when someone wears something designer discretely instead of shouting out to the world that he/she's wearing something more expensive.

And about the boots, I'm glad some of you like them. All that hand stitching was not done in vain. There is appreciation in this world for the $999.95 boot.

I appreciate it...but not enough to spend that much on it! I don't have cowboy boots but when I have borrowed my moms, I wish I did.

Vishenka, funny you mention custom made. We're going back to Italy next May and I reeeeeeaaalllly want to get a pair of custom made pumps in Florence. How much do you think that would set me back?

I would guess at least 500 euros. How long will you be in Florence? One of my friends went to the outlets right outside of the city (I'm pretty sure it was Florence but could have been Rome) and did some major damage. Do you want me to check where they are?
