I love sunny crisp cold days. As long as you're properly dressed, winter can be a lot of fun. I just don't get why people hate it so much.

I know that you're from Russia and all, but this statement begs the question: Have you spent an extended amount of time in Minnesota?

Kelly, I've never set foot in Minnesota. But I always lived in a climate that had 4 seasons and learned to appreciate and love all 4. I haven't experienced a school closing until high school (and that was only once for a couple of days) and was always expected to play outside unless I was sick. To me winter was always associated with playing in the snow. :huh:

Julia I bought one of those wonderful, warm wide headband type things from a ski shop. It makes all the difference in the world.
