prairie skirts/boho...in or out. i love the look of them..or the tiered type flowy things. i would like to think i could pull them off with a more fited shirt...and (i know, i know) flip flops, sandals, or birkenstocks. i love the look of them, but my ass is fat...and i have hips...so they never look how i would like.

(too bad i don't look like those chicks)
so, what's the deal. should i keep looking or not?

      Re: skirts

I think they are on their way out. The only people I see wearing these are college or hs students.

Gap has them and a more modern one, this I think is more fitting for older women (not in hs/college - not OLD )

Try on on and then see if your height evens out your body when wearing a fuller bottom (skirt in this case).

I think even at the height of their popularity (Never see them in South Texas anymore) they tend to make anyone under 5' 11" look a lot shorter than they really are.

Unless you're a gypsy or playing one on TV, I say they're out.

Just picked this one up. It has the light and airy feeling of that type skirt. Maybe this is more up to date.

i think they are "out" but some people can still wear them -- if you are that artsy, earthy chick type.
