  • where to find slipcovers? (kid-friendly)

Having two toddlers has pretty much ruined the fabric on our sofas. And since DH isn't likely to buy new ones until he's done with fellowship, I'm stuck with these. I know I can shampoo them, but I'd just have to do it again the next week (or day). I'd like to get slipcovers that will hold up in the wash well.

Do you have recommendations on where to find slipcovers? How do you make sure they'll fit when you buy them?

I've heard good thing about SureFit http://www.surefit.net/ I've never used them though.

I gave up on slipcovers...and my littlest ones have ruined the sofas in our living room too. I take them off and wash them on cold and let them air dry. As to the slipcover dilemna, I usually just have a blanket on the sofas during the day. They don't look fabulous, but they are easy to remove and wash too. Slipcovers never seem to look right to me and they are expensive.

I say grab some old sheets or something.
