    Everyone's favorite topic!

Last fall, I threw away the two pairs of sandals I wore most. They were worn and hurt my feet. Now we are having warm weather (or we were ) and I need some sandals! I have a pass for the Nike employee store tomorrow which means access to Cole Haan shoes. You never know what they will have but I'm hoping the following are among the options. Thoughts?

I'd prefer 2, 4, 5 out of the ones you posted, but I'm not crazy about any of them. Although I guess for every day running around with capris, they're not bad.

But I don't wear capris, Vishenka! Cut me some slack! I do wear cropped pants (wait, those are the ones closer to the ankle, right?).

I got #5 today. The others either weren't there or weren't in my size. I also got these:

And running shoes for me, DH, soccer cleats for dd1, sandals for dd3, and flips for the pool.

Cropped pants are fine, I wear those too. Love the loafers, patent is so in right now.

I'm afraid to ask, but what is the difference between Capri's and Cropped pants?

Capris are like 6-8 inches shorter than cropped pants, what use to be called petal pushers I believe. So a capri is like 6-8 bellow the knee and cropped is about two inches above the ankle.

                    Re: Sandals

I know...I usually need a break-in period with shoes but I wore the patent loafers yesterday and they were a little ouch. I don't think patent has much give to wear them in? We'll see.

I did get sandal #5. I'm still deciding to keep or return. I have something else kinda-sorta similar. The base of the wedge is narrow and I'm not that graceful. uch:

I twist my ankles in Danskos too. It must be all those years of dance. uch: (kidding) Honestly, I think Danskos are bad that way. Something about the looser fit around the heel, perhaps?

One time in New Orleans I skid across the lobby of a hotel in a pair heels. Luckily, DH was at a meeting and with lots of colleagues and everyone saw me.
