What cut do you like best? Where do you buy them? How much do you spend?

    Re: Jeans

Before I had Adele I loved Ann Taylor LOFT jeans but they just don't fit the same. I bought several pair of Old Navy jeans a few months ago when they had their ridiculous $12 sale. They've been getting me by but last week I splurged on a pair of Lucky brand jeans. I LOVE the way they fit, always have, and since I'm close to back to my pre-pregnancy weight they are my reward/motivation to lose the rest.

These fit well, but make my butt look flat.

I don't like the cut at Costco.

My Lucky jeans are my favorite. I can't remember the cut I get, either classic rider or easy rider. I also like the Earnest Sewn jeans that I got from Bluefly. There was a Joe's Jeans that I tried too but can't remember. I sent those back to Bluefly because I didn't like the wash and haven't bought another pair. I will, just as soon as I remember the name, dammit!

            Re: Jeans

A year ago, I went out to buy new jeans and gave myself almost no price limit. I keep jeans forever, so I really was willing to spend whatever amount for a flattering cut. I spent a few hours at Dillards and tried on about 15 different pairs of jeans. Believe it or not, the $34 Levi's worked best.

I need a curvy fit because I have a smaller waist and a bigger trunk. (Insert Sir Mix A Lot's "Baby got back" here.) Anyway, I like the denim/lycra mix and the fact that it reaches high enough so my panties are not constantly peeking over the top, but low enough to not be considered "mom jeans".

Right now, I'm in Liz Lange's maternity jeans. I'm fairly impressed with Target's maternity line. Motherhood Maternity is the right price but the stuff is all crap that falls apart after one washing.

Levi's 505s, here. Don't ask me about "flattering fit", though; I get them because they're cheap and I don't have to try them on every time I need more

Julia's post reminds me that a friend of mine loves the Long and Lean Jeans. I wouldn't pick those since I am not long nor lean but neither is she. They look great on her.

Lucky Jeans, Sundowner Short in dark wash. But they tend to stretch and start slipping down my hips as the day goes on so I have to hike them up.

I'm a plus size gal so finding jeans is always tricky... but I guess it's tricky for everyone no matter your size? I recently bought new jeans with nearly no budget in mind because I to wanted something nice fitting and good looking. I went with Jones New York, stretchy boot cut/wide leg, from Dillard’s. Also, bought Lane Bryant Red brand. Love love love both of these jeans! It took many trips, tries, sizes to get there, but I'm happy with my new jeans!

I had to get the Jones New York tailored/hemmed. I'm 5'5" and the seamstress took off about 6 inches! That wasn't even a tall, just average in length!

I am a new Lucky Brand fan. I got 2 pairs on sale at Macy's recently and love them. They are so comfortable and fit so nicely. They are called "sweet n low" but they are not that low cut I don't think.

I think whatever your shape it is hard to find a good fit. I have a small waist relative to my hips so usually find that I have to wear a belt on jeans that fit well around the butt.

I've been hearing raves about the NYDJ (Not Your Daughter's Jeans) brand. But I cannot bring myself to try them because "not your daughter's jeans" is really a euphamism for "mom jeans," isn't it?

I like my Lucky jeans. I bought a pair in store and then found a 50% off sale online and stocked up. I do have a pair of Juicy Couture maternity jeans that I like. But they were 50% off too.

I could never buy jeans (or shoes or pants or a bathing suit or bra...) online. The fit varies so much even within the same label. I read somewhere that only 5 to 10 percent of women fit into a standard size. The only store that I can really shop online for myself is Ann Taylor Loft. I'm only able to do that is because I shop there all the time and know which cut and size is the most flattering. Even then I mostly stick to tops when buying online.
