  • winter wedding question. yes, i know....

...cassy just asked about a winter wedding.

next weekend, on the 3rd, a friend is getting married. the colors are mainly red/black.

she had to switch her colors because the church is already decorated for the holidays.

    my babes are in it...

ds is wearing black slacks/shoes/vest....white long sleeve button down with a red tie

dd's are wearing white/black/red dresses with black shoes. their dresses are not the same.

dh's clothes are not the issue. are they ever?

so, my question is...can i wear the same outfit that i wore to dh's dept. christmas party?

black pants, red cami, gray cashmere scoop neck sweater, red(ish) kitten heels. silver necklace/earrings?

i really don't want to buy anything!!

    thanks!

i have a pic of the outfit if that would help.

How formal is it? Perhaps you can swap out a black skirt and stockings instead of the pants?

no skirt, no tights...don't want to spend the moh-lah.

plus, i don't like my legs!

the wedding is very informal. it's on a tight budget...the bride and groom are students....

I was thinking of that -- I think it would be just right for winter and being less formal.
