DrK is eating me out of house and home! As a single gal, I'd spend $35 monthly on groceries and ate ceral for dinner most nights. Now I spend more than $100 on groceries weekly and wear an apron nearly every evening. In FL, I was a big fan of couponmom.com for grocery savings at Publix. I don't think its been as effective for Giant Eagle in OH. I just heard about thegrocerygame.com -- which has a subscription fee so I'm wary. Can anyone recommend some good grocery savings websites? Tips?

Last month when I was living back home in Texas I saw this guy on the local news. He paid a membership to a site and said it was well worth it. I've been calling this guy "goofy Gary" but he really has saved tons of money. I don't know if it's in the video clip or not, but he seriously had a two car garage full of new stuff he got for free or nearly free. Although I think goofy Gary is in need of a girlfriend <stat!> his tips might be of some help to ya.

Ok, I had to go back and see if the video was as silly as I remembered. IT WAS! This guy is such a super dork!! IF he is married his poor wife must have refused to be on the news with him! LOL! My favorite line is "They just pay you to walk out the door with the stuff." :happyrolling:

Anyways, the guy is on to something. Hope it helps someone out there.
