  • Another dress question

I've now been invited to two weddings toward the end of March. They're totally different circles, and I have no problem wearing the same thing to both, but what to wear? Does that count as winter-ish or spring-ish?

I was thinking something like this: http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/i ... dID=503784 (but "inspired by Rachel Ray" - really?)

I like the idea of sleeves, as one of these weddings is in Minnesota, where I imagine it will still be cold.

Other ideas? Figure wise I'm kind of a straight line (ie, not curvy), and my style is definitely more boring than flashy.

    Thanks.

I'm crazy for wrap dresses. They are universally flattering and easy to wear. This is a great daytime dress and could be worn to the office or for a dinner out. One thought though, you should determine how formal the weddings are just to be sure it's not too informal.

I love a good wrap dress. It will add curves if you don't have them. And yes, you will want sleeves in Minnesota in March!

I have nothing against wrap dresses but this one seems a bit too officy to me. Unless both weddings are informal, I would go for something a bit fancier. What's your budget?

          Aha - my thread lives!

My goal is around $100 or less. And not black.

I like this one a bit better. It is black, but has a pattern, so it isn't boring.

This doesn't have long sleeves but I'm assuming the wedding isn't outside.

Would this be too much for Minnesota?

Both evenings. One's at an (indoor) botanical garden, and the other is at a funky art gallery. This is going to put me into two different dresses territory, huh?

Thanks for the ideas! Orange looks terrible on me, but that shape is intriguing.
