  • Great make-up

If you are looking for a great foundation/powder go out and and try Benefit's "Hello Flawless". DD and I each bought a compact and we LOVE it. Its a powder that can be applied with sponge or brush. The coverage truly is flawless and you can use just a little or a lot. It's my new fave to wear alone or with foundation. And I've tried about everything out there, this powder really delivers.

I'll look for it. After your spot-on recommendation for jeans (wearing them now!), you are a woman with good advice.

It does very good, as a woman approaching my 40's, I couldn't be happier with it. I really like it over the Smashbox foundation primer.

Tara, have you used bare minerals? And if so, how does it compare? I love my bare minerals, but you never know if something better is out there!

I'm going to have to check this out. I like the mineral powder I am using now but it is a PITA to get the refills. Sounds promising.

I've never heard of it-- maybe we don't have it?

Anyway, I'm sure I could google and find where to go...

                          OMG- Peggy!

You have a two-story Sephora in Georgetown. Plus a MAC store, a Blue Moon store and about a dozen other fab makeup places within a two block area.

and I think there's one in Montgomery Mall, too.

Ahhh, I never go to Georgetown...

I've been to montgomery mall, so I'll have to look for it next time...

I saw the Benefit display in Sephora today. Unfortunately I had a little boy with me who was distinctly more interested in the mall play place and took off running, so I didn't get to look closer but it seemed like they only had a few shades? Did you feel like you got a good match to your skintone?
