  • Clarisonic

I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of mine - it's coming this afternoon.

Who else has one? Tell me how much you love it so I feel better about spending the $$.

You know what I think. I love it. I thought it was going to be gimmicky but it is totally fabooolous.

I like it...but I have the generic brand from Target. It does make a difference but who has time to exfoliate?

I'm not sure how long it takes but not a whole lot longer than washing my face (use the Clarisonic instead) -- 30-60 seconds?. I use it in the shower in the am to wash my face.

Those 60 seconds provided by that football-headed wunderkind, Dora the Explorer.

Gah, I hate Dora. Esp the dvd that's all singing. HATE it!

It arrived tonight and is charging up. It says to charge for 24 hours before using...I wonder why? I'm not sure I can wait after reading all the reviews.

Nellie, the body brush is twice the size of the delicate.

Kelly, MAKE the time. My bathroom time is my only private time, I make the most of it!

So did you get a body brush and the face brush? You guys are really making me think I may need this for mother's day (since I'm apparently not getting the vacation I ask for daily)....

Deb, I got the delicate, normal, and the body brush. While I can't attest to you needing it or not, Nellie convinced me it's vital! I'll let you know what I think in a week or so. I bought the PRO version at skinmedix.com for quite a bit cheaper than what the regular costs at Sephora. Brushes are cheaper too.

Waaaait. I didn't say "vital". You are mahvelous without it. I think I said amazing, fantastic, and totally worth it and like getting a facial without the time/money needed for one. I think it would be a good mother's day gift. (I hope you like it ).

                    It is a rotating brush:
                    http://www.sephora.com/browse/brand_...dId=Clarisonic

Sort of like the "sonic" (whatever the name is) toothbrush but for your face. My skin feels like I have had a microdermabrasion treatment or a light peel. Aside from the PITA hormonal acne that I have, I have very few visible white or blackheads. (ok, I'm going to go check but I'm pretty sure that is true ).

Is it just a nice pick me up or does it actually help your complection?

Hmm... sounds like it may be on a future Christmas/Birthday list... as a teenager I never really had much trouble with my skin but ever since I've been on birth control my skin breaks out (and not black or white heads, those nasty red oily ones -its horrible!)

I'm not sure how much it will help those. I have a nasty hormonal acne zit here or there.

My skin is as smooth as the baby's bottom though!

Not to hijack (although I guess it's still skin care) but if your birth control is the pill, I would ask to try a different formulation. The first two pills I tried had negative side effects, but the third one worked like a charm with only positive side effects and none of the negative ones. A little bit of trial-and-error may really be worth your while.
