What do u get for the guy who has everything? I have no idea what to get Ryan. UGH!!! I asked him for a list and still nothing.... We don't spend too much on each other, so any ideas? He is a huge tech and science geek!! He wants to go into Radiology, I thought it would be neat to get him something to do with that.

I am in the same boat. I am almost to the point I'm going to going to get him a nice shirt and tie becuase, A: I hate one of the ties he wears and B: I have no idea what to get him. Last year I got J a special scrub cap (among other things). I am interested to see what responses you get. Sorry not being very helpful.

I would get him something he can enjoy with you. One year, I got DH surprise tickets to Phantom of the Opera. The best thing you can get the guy that has everything is an experience of some sort. Another year, he got me tix to the Body Worlds exhibit (highly recommended btw). Maybe a day playing around in the local tech/science museum (we had one that wasn't just kid-focused). Concerts? Etc. I'm getting stuck with my DH too. His suggestion: You know I want a camera...(yea, I know, the $800+ DigSLR that is the next version of the one you already have...sigh)

Good luck Brandi! I'll keep you in mind as I shop for DH.

I like experience gifts too. Golf lessons and a cooking class were both big hits with my husband.

Ooh, golf lessons sound fun. I think my husband would like that one.

Okay so it is not techy or anything. But he needs a scarf to wear with his new coat he just bought. He loves the brand Arc'Teryx, but most of the time I can not afford to buy him anything from them. So I was looking online and found an Arc'Teryx scarf! It is perfect for him. I got it in black! Free shipping to store too! Here is the link if anyone wants it.

I also found some toe-socks, don't ask me why he wants them. He saw them in the store and thinks he needs a pair. I didn't want to spend 12 bucks though, I found them for 6.82 a pair!!

So for 47 bucks I got 3 gifts!!! WOOHOOO

There was much joking about how dawkters need to be able to play golf, but it turns out it's pretty true. DH is in a majority-female specialty, and golf seems to be the main form of male socialization.

Can I just say Brandi that you are such a great wife! I am *starting* to think about gifts for DH, but I will probably really start shopping come late November. He is lucky to have such a thoughtful wife!!
