I really really want to get my mom a Kindle for Christmas and my brother agreed to go in on it with me. Anyone know how to get any good deals on Amazon?

I coulda sworn I saw a deal on amazon for the kindle today. They are posting new deals every hour.

I'm looking for a laptop computer and photo printer. I'm shopping on-line. DrK is not available for doorbusters and I'm not fighting crowds or camping out this year.

Also, looking for baby gear. I'm super pissed that Babies R Us posted deals on the travel system, swing, and exersaucer that were already bought for us. My mom and DrK's aunts could have each saved about almost $100. AND I could have saved $65 if I bought the play pen at Wal-Mart.com today. Rats!

Regarding the Kindle - A lady I work with was going to order one for her daughter, and she said they were on backorder until January. That's secondhand info, so I'm not sure if it's accurate, but you should check soon.

I don't know of specific items, but it looks like a lot of retailers are doing earlybird sales.

bing.com has bing cash back on Dell for 20% - and I just bought a new laptop!
