    Has anyone done it?

I think it would be fun! I've read that if you go after noon there are still a lot of dresses left and smaller crowds.

Is it worth a trip to Boston or Chicago? They'll be the nearest ones after we move but still a flight away.

Hmm...I've heard about it, but to be honest, if you are paying for a plane ticket, it seems like negates the savings, at least a little bit.

Is this the event you were talking about? They have a few more cities:

That's right. From where we'll be living, I may have to travel a bit for a good selection anyway. My sisters will be visiting and we'll basically have a week to pick my gown and the bm dresses!

Well, boo then! If it doesn't work out, I do recommend trunk shows and sample sales. I ordered my gown during the trunk show and it was 20% off!

If you're planning to travel anyway, I have to recommend The Bridal Garden in NYC. They're dresses donated primarily from designers, sold at at least 50% off and all of the proceeds benefit a children's charity.

I like deals but hate crowds, so the running of the brides would not be my thing.
