  • Graduation dress

Is this too fancy for DH"s graduation? I want a mid-length dress.

I also love this blouse and was considering wearing this with white slacks.

I'm not a fashion expert by any means, but I love the dress. I would think with some sandals or other not too dressy shoes and a casual necklace it wouldn't be too dressy.

I don't think its to dressy either, I like the blouse too!

My vote is for the dress. Jersey material makes it more casual, so you should be ok even with strappy heels.

I am voting for the dress too (although you probably already bought it!)
I think it will be perfect

So as I was about to buy it I got a call from my mom. She liked the dress, but thought it would not be flattering on my figure. I have a perfect hour glass figure and big boobs. Also DH does not like for me to wear black, so I thought I would appease him on his special day. But that dress is beautiful! So guess that's on hold for a minute. I'll probably go to Nordstrom's closer to graduation. They have some great dresses online.

But I am getting this dress for the formal dinner. I love lace: http://www.newport-news.com/shop/pro...fashcoll_id=10

What do you all think about the necklace with it?

Oooo--I love that first VS dress. I want it too...I have an hourglass figure as well, though

I really like the shape of the last lace dress--I bet it will look good on you!

Ooo--I like the green one better. The lace one is pretty too, but there's always been something about nude fabric under lace that bothers me.

I like both dresses. The Nordstrom one seems to have better quality though.

Everyone, including my mom and DH love the Nordstrom dress, so I think I will wear that to the actual graduation. DH likes it better in blue, but I just love the green! I think I will order the lace one for the formal dinner the night before or for a wedding we are attending that weekend. Thanks for bringing up the quality issue Vishenka. I'll have to examine it carefully and send it back if it looks cheap. I just love lace and I'll only be wearing it once.
