  • Lily and/or Vishenka!

I'm looking for a Chloe bag that I saw at Nordstrom about a month ago. It was on sale, but I decided to hold off on purchasing it. It's no longer in the store. I assume that it'll show up at Nordstrom Rack at some point, but do you have any online sites that I might search to try to find it? It's probably from the winter 2009 line. I have no idea what it's called.

Any direction would be very much appreciated!

You can also check Nordstrom's and other department stores' websites. It would be easier to search for it if you knew the style name/number. ebay is always an option.

Thanks, ladies. I looked online, and didn't have any luck. Actually. I'm not even positive it's a Chloe bag anymore after searching through the sites you mentioned, lily. Now I don't even stand a chance! Thanks

Do you remember what it looked like? Did it have a padlock?

No, no padlock. It's hobo and has small buckles. I'll see if I can find something close and post it.

It looks a lot like this bag but with a bit more form. It also has belt-like buckle that run diagonally on the top corners, so that you can cinch it a bit (mostly for design).

Do you think a big bag would make me look frumpy? I'm short, and I don't want to look like Santa or something.

Sometimes I just want to carry a nice bag that isn't a diaper bag... Gone are the days when I could carry something completely impractical!

The only Chloe hobo with buckles that I was able to find was this,
                http://www.saksfifthavenue.com/main/...72135&ev19=1:5

Is it close? Before looking for best price, we need to figure out the bag. As for the size, I don't think a hobo is too big. I carry big purses all the time and don't think twice about it.

Forgot to reply to your post, although I saw it yesterday...
It's close, but a bit bigger (deeper). I'm pretty sure it isn't Chloe, given the prices I've seen while searching!

So you do need any help finding a hobo in general?

I don't think I have use for a purse, to be honest. I'm living out of a diaper bag...

I'd just be carrying a second bag for vanity purposes.

I know, maybe I could use a new wallet?! Something very spring-like and bright! I like big ones.

I got a big wristlet that can either go in the diaper bag or hook directly on the stroller. When you say a big wallet, do you mean ones that can hold a checkbook or just many compartments and space for change?

I don't need to carry a checkbook, but I just like lots of compartments and ways to organize my cards.

I just bought a pair of yellow shoes for spring (it arrives early here -- flowers are already starting to bloom). Something spring-y with not a lot of zippers would be nice. I really have no idea what is convenient for a diaper bag quite yet. I usually just throw everything in my bag and hope that my wallet is still in there when I need it.

How do you plan on carrying your stuff? Diaper bag? Diaper bag and purse?

I definitely don't want to do 2 bags, hence the wristlet. I'm hoping that I can stuff everything I need in there and that it'll fit in the diaper bag. One of the reasons I wanted a nice diaper bag is so that I can substitute for a purse.

I'll look around for a nice spring wallet for you.
