I know it's over but I have to say that I think that #2 looks beautiful on you - the wider straps make your neck and shoulders lovely! and I think color is always good in the winter-time.
I have very odd and "personalized" tastes so I am sure that you looked lovely as they are all nice dresses.

What did you end up wearing?

If UTSW did, J didn't tell me either. So I am thinking not.
Boo. I was kind of hoping they did

Haha, I spoke too soon--they do have one website dedicated to "PROM"

          Re: Dress help for TONIGHT

Sad I missed this discussion! Sadly, it seems one's last opportunity to wear floor-length gowns ends with sorority formals unless you're a bridesmaid or going to a black or white tie affair. (Man, wouldn't it be fun to go to a white-tie event?)

Anyway, they all look lovely. Which did you go with? Did you have fun?
Ours isn't until the spring. I'm thinking of renting a dress for it. We'll see.

They may not have had prom, but they did have a "wine tasting" where everyone got dressed up all pretty. They had a DJ and wine and cheese. I am not sure it was a UTSW thing though. It might have just been one of the more well off students that threw it each year. LadyM, did you go/remember what I am talking about?

Sorry for the Hijack, I hope its ok since this thread is past the date... But back on track of the thread, I still want to know which dress was picked and how the night was!

Okay so after I posted this I went to the back of my closet and found a few more short dresses.... I couldn't decide, but DH wanted to wear his khaki colored suit, so I decided on this dress.

Sorry to ask your help and then choose a TOTALLY different dress, but I appreciate all your input!

And I was glas I went with this dress because almost everyone was wearing short cocktail type dresses.

You look fantastic! And the man on your arm completes the look very nicely. I am glad you had a great time!

We did have a great time! It was so nice to catch up with all his med school friends, we haven't seen much of them with all DH's away rotations and interview travels!

I like that dress the most! You guys look great. I found out DH's school had a "prom", by someone asking why we never went.... I guess Dh never wanted to go.
