Tomorrow is the resident prom. Yes, a prom for residents. It's not really even semi-formal, just a dinner party that involves dancing. I had no idea the end of the year involved so many parties/gatherings, even though we aren't graduating!
So, I'm wearing this dress tomorrow: http://www1.macys.com/catalog/produc...tegoryID=46369. I wear a lot of black to evening events and I'm trying to break out of that pattern. I had DH ask one of the chiefs what women wear to the prom and the answer was a mix of sundresses and cocktail dresses.
But since I've worn black for so long, I have nothing but black dress shoes. Can I wear black dress shoes with the aqua dress? I have bone and ivory colored shoes, what about those? I'm not sure I like those as much as black (I feel like my grandmom should be wearing them). Or should I wear nude, even though my legs are so white, they could reflect the sun and blind innocent bystanders? The nude shoes seem to blend better on the models who aren't as pasty as I am.
Help! TIA!!
