  • Just for Fun -- Silly or Useful

Ok, there are tons of folks competing for our cash and all kinds new gizmos out there. Which are surprisingly useful and innovative? Which are entirely wasteful?

This is one that I've found surprisingly useful because it protects my glasses from being knocked off the nightstand when I grope for the alarm clock and I always know where they are -- especially good because I cannot see them if they are not on my face -- but a large soap dish works just as well. http://blujay.com/?page=ad&adid=2852178&cat=11100800

Here's one for the useless pile: http://www.mylotterymate.com/

    Thoughs on this one?: http://www.yessarah.com/Home.html

Useful - if you are wearing the baby and need some protection under the wrap perhaps...but a regular old burb cloth has never done me wrong...plus it looks like some type of weird shrug...and do you take it off when you aren't holding the baby, or just leave it on for the next time????

Useful: the Fisher Price Soothing Motions Glider. I could not have children without this little gem.

(That, and Ziplock bags. To this day, I can't work a Diaper Genie, so we stock up on cheapie plastic zipbags and use those.)

        Useful: Fabric Shaver

and this little gadget--we registered for it and I tried it out yesterday. It's worth its weight in gold.

useful- The Vitamix Super 5000. as much as it pains me to admit it.

and I have to hide my glasses in the bedside table drawer because Darla sadly learned from Rascal (RIP, the Fat Bastard) that the best way to wake me up from a dead sleep is to knock my glasses on the floor. (except when he perfected his technique we were living in a loft apartment with cement floors...)
