K, so the first sundress is okay, but maybe a little short. I have a long torso, and am tall, so short dresses are really short on me. The second dress, I like, but I don't know how it would work with my rack. Do all these places have good return policies? The third dress, I hate. It looks like Snow White and Superman got together to design evening wear.

What the hell is a Maxi?

The thong flats...do they have to be thongs? I hate thongs. I know most people like them, but I can stand things between my toes.

I bought bathing suits already. I'm a fatty, and we fatties need to get swimsuits that suck all our rolls into place.

Personally, I don't look good in maxi dresses. I have a strangely long torso and giant boobs. The part of my body that is biggest (boobs) is the only place these dresses are even remotely fitted. Most of the maxi dresses I've tried on have the fabric billow out on the torso, where I'm smaller. If I get a dress that fits my boobs, the billowy fabric below makes me the rest of me appear shorter and fatter than I am. Which I didn't even know was possible.

However, I just noticed that Target has a kimono-style one that might work for my body type. Hmmm.

I like the second bathing suit but am deadset against skirted ones. I think they only make you look bigger. Great shoe choices, I'm very proud of you for picking them. The dress is 100% polyester, not recommended for a hot and humid DR (or at all for that matter).

In regard to dress length, most models are 5'10", so chances are it will hit your leg around the same area as it looks in the picture. An inch in either direction won't make a huge difference.

Lily, it's a dress- the pink and white floral is a dress as well as the blue one with the paisley-type look. I got the white top, the pink and white dress, and the blue top also at Bealls. I tried on some really cute dresses that were really flattering to most of my body, but couldn't quite handle my boobs.

I didn't know if the pink and white dress was really appropriate or not. It has that white scratchy mesh stuff under the skirt. I think you can see it in the pic.

What happened to the AT dresses?

How long is the last dress? It does have the potential to look a bit like a nighty but it's hard to say when it's on a hanger. Can it handle your boobs? As long as the bermudas don't have pleats and have a straight fitted leg, I approve.

I like the colors of the pink/black/white one but not sure how the tulle (scratchy mesh stuff ) will do when you are in the heat and humidity. If it is scratchy now - ya know?? Can you remove it?
