I need rainboots (for very obvious reasons)!

Anything I should look out for? Do any of you own Hunter rainboots? Any other options out there for a classic rainboots that can handle a lot of walking?

    TIA

I do have the Hunters in black. I got them from Zappos. I'm sure someone can chime in on a less expensive option, but I love my Hunters!

I have Hunters in aubergine (also from Zappos) and I LOVE them. I've had rainboots before, but none as comfortable and durable as these.

I would really like the high ones, but am afraid that at my height (5') I would look like I'm fly fishing. Do you have the low or high ones? High gloss or regular finish? By aubergine, do you men what they call "violet?" I like that color alot!

I have the high ones, but I am also 5'9. I suggest getting the high gloss, because they do not bloom, which is when that waxy chalky finish gets all over them.

I have the high ones, and I'm only 5'3. They're probably a little tall on me, but I like them that way. Aubergine is the color Hunter calls them -- I would call them dark purple. The violet ones (which are really pretty, as well) are a lighter shade of purple. I don't have the high gloss, and they did get that chalky finish on them at first. That just wipes right off with a wet rag, though, and I haven't had any trouble since then.

Thought I'd revive this thread because for anyone with small feet, you can buy the children's version in larger sizes and they're a lot cheaper. Why I didn't realize this years ago is beyond me.

Seriously, I only realized this this year when shopping with my daughters. The sequined Hello Kitty ballet slippers fit beautifully.

These boots are great! I bought a pair of toddler-sized ones for dd. Living in a mild, rainy climate means she wears them every single day. They don't fall off her feet either--I was so sick and tired of searching for lost boots in stores when she's lose them from the shopping cart.
