  • Shopping for Leather Boots

So, I've had two pair of 9 West leather knee-high boots that I've worn to death for at least the last 7-10 years. I've had them polished, resoled, and rehealed several times but they've both given up. Time to replace them. Any suggestions? I'm looking for something high heeled. My last boots were stillettos but now that I'm a mommy and will be preggers the next few months, I'm thinking I should look for a stacked heel this time. And maybe round toes? I have skinny calves and I'm short so I'm looking for narrow boots, not over the knee or too high, that zip up all the way. I'm trying to avoid that "standing in a bucket" look that comes from boots that are too wide in the calf. Fashionistas? Any recommentations?

I love Franco Sarto or Enzo Angiolini boots. I've also found cute and affordable boots by Steve Madden and Skechers.

I found some at Aldo that Dh is for my birthday. They were pricey.

The boots I ordered from Nordstroms that I never got and had to reorder from Amazon are by Ecco.

Macy's has a decent selection of styles and price ranges.
