How do you pluck your eyebrows?

I'm not sure of where to put this. I need total specifics ... I'm even up to having you show up at my door and doing it for me.

Basically, my eyebrows are like two caterpillars .... I wasn't sure how to pluck them or wax them and then it seemed like it took too much time and was too ... agonizing to pull out each hair individually so ...

I used a disposable razor to trim them up.

It doesn't look terrible, but I have razor burn on my forehead. Please don't laugh. I really thought I could quickly give them some shape. Quote from Thomas "one is higher than the other". They are still bushy, but not as bad.

I have no idea what shape they are supposed to be or anything.

Where can you buy eyebrow wax?

I say, let them grow back and go somewhere to get it
professionally done! You can always do touch-ups in between, but you'll have a starting point!

I do a light trim with scissors to the tops and take a tweezer to the middle. That said, I think it's worth getting it done professionally.

ETA: A lot of hair salons and nail places seem to do eyebrows.

I get mine waxed when I get my toes done. That is my "me" time. $8 for my eyebrows, totally worth it!

Yes, ask at your salon. You can tell them you don't want anything too dramatic and to follow your natural shape.

I wouldn't mess with your own eyebrows--it can get outta control, and then you're left with two really skinny caterpillars.

Yes, definitely go to a professional, especially on your first go around. I've had mine both waxed & threaded.

Once you've had them done professionally, it's much easier to spot an outlier & pluck it. You'll probably only need to go back to the pro every 6 weeks.

Most hair & nail salons have an aestetician on staff who does waxing. I've never paid more than $15 before tip but usually closer to $8-$10.

Yes, get them done professionally, and then just touch up and follow the shape they already gave your eyebrows. I pluck, and I usually go far too long in between so I have to start all over again pretty much every time. I can never get both eyebrows to look exactly the same. It's easier to maintain, but it seems like I can go for a week or two with no stray hairs, and then all of a sudden I have a ton of them and the whole process seems so daunting. Bleh.

Wow, I never ever thought of having someone pluck my eyebrows. I just follow their natural line and pluck strays. My mom always said to never pluck from the top, only the bottom. But having them professionally done is intriguing.

I get mine waxed. I'm too lazy/uncoordinated to pluck.

If your eyebrows are so thick that you're calling them caterpillars I would start with a professional. Mine are super skimpy so I just use a stencil kit that I bought at Sally's. I pick the shape I want, and use brow powder to stencil the shape and pluck whatever isn't in the colored in area. Plucking is a pita, make sure you get good tweezers to use at home in between waxings.
