What did you guys wear to the spouse graduation? There is also a dinner the night before, so I need something for that as well.

Here are some that I am leaning toward. Do you think these would work.

I liked the last two options - they were a bit less formal, but that was what was the norm at E's graduation.

I wore a suit to DH's graduation dinner and was not out of place at all. I wore a sundress to his graduation because it was during the day outdoors.

I like the first one and the last two.

I wore a linen suit (skirt, top, jacket) to graduation. I ended up freezing because there was a weird DC cold snap.

ETA- I think the last one is the best bet of the bunch.

I wore a black & white polka dot dress with a red skinny belt and heels, and my pearls to DH's commencement. It was indoors, but I did bring a shrug in case the AC made me cold.

With that being said, I really like the first dress and the last two. I think anything white or beaded is a bit over-the-top for commencement.

Ours was outdoors in a courtyard. We all ( his two sisters and I) wore nicer sundress type outfits. I like the last dress.

I agree with everyone saying that white and beaded is too much. I like the first one. I think the last one has the potential to look like a tent, especially on someone with a larger bust. It doesn't even look good on the model, but it seems like I'm in the minority here.

I wore something almost like, except mine was v cut in the bust for the dinner the night before http://www1.macys.com/catalog/produc..._LENGTH%3DKnee Length%26sp%3D1%26spc%3D38

I wore this for the graduation. I'm very large busted, but tall. This was very flattering on my large boobs! http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/suzi-chi...esultback=3870

They also make is shorter. http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/suzi-chi...resultback=905

Can one of the admins please move this to the Retail forum? Thanks.

DH's graduation was in Lincoln Center. I wore a linen LBD with a pashmina and a coral set instead of pearls.

Really like the last one! First one would be great for evening dinner or graduation ceremony.

Ours was at Lincoln Center on a ridiculously hot day. I wore a sundress and brought a cardigan just in case I got chilly inside.

I'm 5'1". I got a nice dress from White House Black Market. It was a halter dress with an a-line bottom. It was fancy, definitely not a Sunday dress, but it definitely wasn't a cocktail dress either.
