  • iPod nano?

I'm going to sound stoopid, and that's okay. I'm hoping someone has one of these.

I've been checking out ipods and think I've settled on the nano. I intend to use it while walking/running. Is it user-friendly? I had the shuffle and hated it. Can you download apps? Specifically the c25k? I'm in love with my iPad and don't really see a reason to get an iPod touch or the classic. (unless you can give me reasons I haven't thought of!!! lol)

    Thanks for any input!!!

I have a Nano, but it's 4-5 years old I think. A friend gave it to me. I can't put apps on it, but can make playlists in iTunes that transfer on to it.

I have an older nano, and I do love it for working out because it's so small, so it's less clunky than my iPhone, but much more user-friendly than the shuffle. But, you can't download apps.
I'm just trying to make it out alive!

Dang. Glad I asked though, thanks!

Can you use the iphone like an ipod? I don't need to store tons of music, just an hour's worth. (Bear in mind that I finally joined the 21st century and got a cell phone 18 months ago, as well as this year we converted our cds to mp3 files, )

That's sealing the deal for the iphone then! I love these all-in-one gadgets!! I'll miss my blackberry's keypad though.

BonBon, like the others have said, there are no apps for the iPod nano. However, if you'd rather use that instead of a bigger iPod Touch or an iPhone, there are podcasts you can download that talk you through the C25K program. The only tricky part would be finding one with music that you enjoy. You can just google C25K and podcast, but here's one that seems to be very popular: http://www.kissmyblackass.org/podcasts/
