  • Great foundation

I have had the hardest time finding a foundation I really like and one that has a color to match my skin tone. I have mostly just been using Benefit's "Hello Flawless" powder, which I still love but sometimes a gal wants more coverage than a powder can handle. Anyway, I stumbled across Make Up For Ever's High Definition Foundation at Sephora and WOW, it is awesome. Goes on light but provides great coverage and gives your skin a nice glow.

I saw the thread title and thought we'd be discussing Spanx.

          Which, while wonderful, are torturous.

Spanx don't work well for me. They roll down my fat rolls until I have a nice spanx tube circumfrentially around my ass. It's hawt.

I really like Bare Escentuals. I can't go back to liquid foundation. I don't even want to try.

Heidi you crack me up! I usually end up with a bulge at the bottom of the thigh where my natural "fluffiness" fluffs back out. Thankfully you don't see it too much, but I usually just skip the whole ordeal and jiggle all over the damn place.

Kris, I have that too! Also, when the Spanx are briefly up, I have the glorious muffin top. And, no, I don't need a larger size. I already buy them one size bigger than I should. Maybe if they made a Spanx neck to toe body suit? To hell with it.

In related news, I need to find a fantastic master plastic surgeon guru to, well, make me his life's work.

Maybe you can get some sort of professional courtesy write off from one of Chad's colleagues at the hospital...

And now we have officially derailed yet another thread.

I liked that too in my early 30's but past a certain age it just adds years to your face.

                      Sorry for the hijack!

I plan on plastic surgery to fix the certain age different foundation stuff too. Well, botox and restalin. I'm such a dawkter's wife.

I hate Spanx with a passion and love B.E. foundation. Oddly enough, I tend to wear both simultaneously.

Ugh, I find Spanx a necessary evil. *shudder* Heidi, I've often wondered why they don't offer a neck to wrists/ankles bodysuit. Only then would I not have any "fluffing out" at the edges.

Tara, what did you wear under your BE? I use unrefined virgin coconut oil as my daily moisturizer and the BE on top works well. I occasionally use a silicone base under it which also works. I agree that BE on naked older skin just doesn't settle well. :/ I'm still outraged over a basement zit that showed up a week ago...it's just not right to have to deal with aging skin and zits at the same time.

You know the huge, painful kind under your skin that never actually (and thankfully!!!) make an appearance? One of those. Mine was on the end of my nose - the indignity!!
