  • High school reunion

    (Holy cow!)

It's Saturday night. Dinner in a private room at a brewery. I know a brewery doesn't sound upscale, but it's kind of nicer than casual, at least by Reno standards. I'm thinking about wearing something closer to a sundress than a formal dress... good idea? Bad idea?

There's also an informal bar night and a family picnic. I plan to be dressed fairly casually for both of those. And they're before the big event, whatever I wear Saturday night won't be some big reveal or anything.

    Soothing reunion attire stories appreciated.

My class has never gotten anything together, even for our 10-year so I don't know, but it sounds perfect! Have fun!

No advice since I've never attended a reunion, but have fun! Sounds like a great time.

Just wear something that makes you feel fabulous. I wore a sexy red dress to mine. After wandering around for an hour by myseld, I was wondering whether I was STILL a wallflower. Then I realized that no one recognized me and I started introducing myself to people. That was SO much fun!

She went to DH's school, not mine!

I really wish DH could come with me. This is my 10-year reunion, and we were dating the last year plus of high school. He'd know people too. Stupid work.

So, I just realized the dress I was planning to wear is like exactly the school colors (black and gold). That can't possibly be a good idea, right?

Cassy, we were at about 200. I am surprised at how many people on the rsvp list I DON'T know, but we'll see.
