Heidi - How do you find good heels to dance in...? I'm certain I'm always picking the wrong shoes and I want to cut my feet off at the end of the night?

Dance shoes have suede on the bottom and are made specifically for dancing. You can find them at specialty dance stores or online. Gamba and Supadance are the brands I always wore (I think both are UK brands). I think latin shoes are best for most dances and can be used for ballroom standard as well, but it is hard to salsa or cha cha in standard shoes (standard = waltz, tango, foxtrot, quickstep). Latin shoes have straps to hold your foot in.

Dancing in heels is easy! I used to do it for hours! I wish my dh was just an inch or two taller, but even if he were, I still probably wouldn't wear heels often. I just always feel like the biggest girl/presence in a room, and it's not comfortable. .

Heidi, embrace your tall girl! I love being tall, and things tend to look really good on us because of the extra height. One of my closest friends is 6'0 and is always in high heels. Always.

I always dance barefoot. Regardless of heel height/comfort. Guess I'm just a dirty hippie at heart. Haha
