    On a I-can't-believe-I'm-this-old note: is anybody old enough to remember a time when a 2-for-$14 charge for movie admission would have seemed like highway robbery?

      I know, GMW! Drives me crazy when we go visit our parents, and we see a movie for $4.50, or $2.75 for matinees. Those are new releases, too!

        We went to the movies the other day and it was 7.50 for a matinee. I couldn't believe it.
