I use a Bodum french press. I have a Cuisinart Burr Grind and Brew, but i'm the only one who drinks coffee at home, and only make enough for my large travel mug - I asked for the Bodum as my X-mas gift. I'd really, really like a Nespresso, but it's just not in our budget right now. I also am a little freaked out by the heated plastic thing (maybe i'm wrong though, do the little plastic things get heated?). I buy the Starbucks Winter Blend when it's at Costco and grind it myself in my Vitamix blender.
When i'm out I usually drink a a triple espresso, so having one at home would be a very nice treat. I love me my caffeine. It makes me a good mother.

What heated plastic thing are you talking about? Nothing on the outside of the machine gets hot or even warm. I used to grind fresh beans and use a french press too but after having DD, I only have time and energy to press a button.
