  • Tiny Holes In Bottom Front Of T-Shirts

Every t-shirt I buy, no matter how expensive or cheap gets tiny holes in the bottom front. The same thing happens to my daughters t-shirts. We don't live in the same house or use the same washing machine. DH's shirts never gets holes in them, and Amy's DH never gets holes in hhis shirts either. Does anyone else have this problem? I rarely wear belts so it isn't from belts. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A bunch of tiny holes. It starts with one or two then about 6 or 7.

It can happen after wearing one time or a dozen times, no rhyme or reason.

It could be your detergent, or maybe the heat intensity in your dryer.
Try switching to a less abrasive cleanser, and hanging them up straight from the washer as an experiment (?)

I sometimes get little holes from my shirts catching on the bottom of my desk at work. Took me forever to figure out.

are the holes usually in a line, or random? I'd suspect anything you lean up against while wearing the shirts (bathroom sink?)

I get them too. Do you wear your t-shirts untucked with jeans? I think it's from the button and fabric doubled up at the button and fly pressing against the t-shirt. Especially if I lean against counters while doing housework - for instance, when doing dishes or folding laundry. I figure it doesn't happen to our men because (1) they wear their t-shirts tucked in, (2) when/if hey lean against a counter, it probably hits them in a different spot.

Not just granite though. My counters are formica. It's the jeans rubbing against the counter that does it.
