I guess blazers are going to be in this spring. I want one with the patches on the elbows. Anyone seen them anywhere? Also how should the blazer fit. Someone at h&m told me that they r not to button but to look fitted?

I saw a pinterest board with a blazer on it I liked--I'm tempted to get one too.

My husband just read this post and informed me blazers are ugly across the board. Apparently he is a fashionista?

My DH hates blazers too! He says they remind him of an old college lit professor.

I'd probably agree that they'd look best fitted and unbuttoned. Otherwise it might look like you borrowed it from your old college lit professor...

I usually hate blazers but DH got one for Christmas last year that is just gorgeous. It's blue but with sort of a brown undertone and it fits perfectly. It was a very generous present from his parents so maybe that's why it works. I was absolutely against blue blazers after attending an interview dinner with DH where every other applicant had one on, with the prerequisite khakis and tasseled loafers. Ugh, it was pathetic, like they thought wearing anything else would prevent them from matching. I love wearing fitted blazers myself, but I love taking "masculine" fashions and wearing them in a "feminine" way. Not that I really have much style these days considering I work from home in my yoga pants
