  • Waterproof Makeup

I am looking for waterproof mascara and waterproof eyeliner.. I have heard good things about Lancome, and a friend thinks I should go have them apply makeup at Macy's and see what I think... I am so scared that I am going to look like a lady of the night.
Any good recs, or any thought on going to the makeup counter??

I like Sephora's waterproof mascara. Avon and Rimmel have good ones too. But I'm on a tight budget and buy all my make-up at drugstores or use the Sephora brand.

My sister just sent me this article: http://www.buzzfeed.com/amyodell/mak...ach-and-a-five
I haven't tried any of the stuff mentioned in it though!

Pretty funny article, Ravenclaw! I will have to try out some of that stuff in my hot yoga class. I never wear anything - and it's probably awful for my skin to do so - but anything that can handle THAT sweat level would be good to know about. It's basically bulletproof.

I can't imagine that sweating in all that would be good for the skin. Of course, I'm lucky to get any kind of mascara onto my face in the mornings. (I have duplicates of everything at work- saves so much time in the morning and my office has a bathroom and three windows. Super good light!

I may try out the Clinique though because I do end up looking like Goth Girl after yoga has made all of the mascara slide down my face.

I usually wear Maybelline waterproof mascaras. But I got a sample from Coastal Creations that's okay.

I bought the Clinique mascara yesterday. It's still on. No smudging.

                I love Clinique!
The good news is, when you do want to take it off, it does come off nicely. I've never had to scrub hard.

Drats, there was an article in last month's Vogue about synchronized swimmers and the makeup they wear. Wish I'd saved it.

Brandi, not sure if you're still looking for waterproof stuff but Tarte has a line of waterproof makeup that's at Ulta and Sephora now called Aqualillies.
