Jeans for in the middle of weight loss

I'm finally starting to lose some weight and my old jeans are getting loose on me! Yay! I wanted to get some affordable but flattering jeans while I'm in the middle of my 20 lb weight loss goal.
Any suggestions? I'm pear shaped...small waist and big hips. And whatever I get will have to get hemmed since I'm short.

How cheep? I'm a different shape but have literally worn jeans from Walmart for a couple months just to get me through to the next size. My larger jeans didn't fit anymore and I had really nice jeans for a couple sizes down but nothing in between. That's when I had to resort to cheepo jeans that allowed me to fake it for a couple months until I could get down another size. I have no idea what happened when I was going up? Was I just shoving it all in those small pants until I had to go up 2 sizes!!? haha! oh. gawd.
