  • What to wear?

We have a wedding in Nashville coming up the first weekend of October. The wedding is on a Friday night at 5pm at Cedarwood. I know nothing of what this means I took a pic of the invite, too, because I know that says something about the formality of the wedding...

Can I wear something like this:
(Obviously I won't be 8 months pregnant, but the dress is actually non-maternity with an empire waist)

Here are some other outfits (about 10):

I can't figure out how to delete the two attached pictures at the bottom, but there are other dresses at the two links above!

I vote the red, but the first one is probably appropriate according to how the invite looked. The last one (long) looks a little too much. But I am not the most fashionable person so you might want to wait for others to respond.

I really like the coral sheath dress. I think that color is really flattering on you.

I think the red is your best bet.

I like the coral, too. And whether it's a more pink or orange coral will make a difference. A too-pink coral might not work for that time of year, but a more orange coral could. And I like LSW's suggestion of brown and gold accessories.

I like all your dresses and think any of them are lovely and appropriate but the green one stands out to me the most.

Much like going to work and dressing for the job you want, dress for the circles with which you'd rather be identified.
They are both (relatively new) lawyers in the Indy area. I'm assuming their associates and spouses will be there (at least some). I never thought about it that way! It's an adult only wedding. I googled the reception site, and the invites fit perfectly with it...it is self-described as "the chic side of country". Here's a wedding that was there: http://www.elizabethannedesigns.com/...-at-cedarwood/

I would say the coral is more pink than orange, but I'll ask DH (since most men have no concept of coral, he'll either say it's pink or orange!)

                        Can I just say that:

                        1) You look fantastic! Having a 9 month old looks GREAT on you!
                        2) I am so impressed that you took the time to take pictures and post them. That alone would have made me just bail on the whole thing and pick one (which would probably look crappy and seasonably inappropriate)

FWIW, I agree that coral in October is iffy. I like the red because it says "fall" to me.

Holy cow! You've had a baby?!?
FWIW, I like the red one, but I'm no fashion guru.
