  • Healthy Foodie Gifts

We have loads of crunchy foodies on here...any cool gadgets or sauces, foods, etc you can recommend. My FIL has everything and is impossible to buy for, but is a total foodie who has been doing P90X religiously the past 4 years. Wine and grilling are his big things

What about some sort of marinade variety pack and a certificate for some meat? How much are you roughly looking to spend? I would try to avoid the "he could buy this for himself" mentality - we get caught up with that when buying for the ILs Just go with something you know he'd use. Maybe something you can only find in DFW?

Does he have a food thermometer? CI recommends a ThermaPen. Not sure what your budget is.

        $50

I'll have to ask about the thermapen

Even my MIL doesn't know what to buy

What about a smoker box for his grill and some nice seasoned wood chips? (We got that for FIL last year who is IMPOSSIBLE to buy for)

Cedar planks for grilling salmon, maybe? I would think that would easily be under $50 and it's a great foodie way to cook salmon.

We got R's mom a couple of Corksicles for her bday and she loved them! She's a total wine fanatic.

It's really an awesome invention! When we bought them in July, they were impossible to find...now, of course when I don't need one, they're everywhere!

Amazon has them. Prime shipping. Yes. Done. Wahoo.

His birthday was in Nov. and I'm still working on that. He's getting a mini booklet of "N's Greatest Hits" pictures. If you are being treated by my FIL, there is a 95% chance you have seen pictures of my daughter.
