  • Black Flats

I am in desperate need of a new pair of black flats for work. My trusty Delmans are in embarrassingly bad shape. It's sad. Does anybody have any suggestions on comfy work flats? I usually buy Delmans, but I am brutal on shoes, and lately they don't seem to keep up with me. I need to stay under $200, and hope to stay well under that, but I'd pay up to $200 for great quality.

I don't even need anything too fancy. Just something black and work appropriate that doesn't have bows. Tory Burch is hit-or-miss for me (I actually have a black pair that won't stay on my feet anymore and now stays in my closet), and I hate Vince Camuto. And I don't want to look like a grandma. Something that I could possibly wear with leggings or skinny jeans would be nice, but not necessary. I don't know why this is so difficult for me! Shopping is usually not this difficult!

I like Naturalizers a lot. I have wide feed, so I can get them in W and the fit well, but they also have regular or narrow. They have the N5 Comfort, which is pretty nice.

I just saw these Madewell flats on sale... but I love Borns for comfort if you can find some that aren't too ugly.

I love my black Born Adele flats, but they seem to have discontinued that model. You can still find them on some sites.

Check out the Anne Klein iflex. I ran around for 8 hours, in the woods, in a cave, shooting a wedding in those and didn't need to plunge my feet into an ice bath afterwards. Mine are black with a flower-looking thing on the front, I think I got them at DSW.
